OUR COMMUNICATIONS PROCESS

The Communication Team will partner with you to help you promote your upcoming event. This process outlines the steps you’ll need to know to get your event marketed.


STEP 1 : Determine your Category

CATEGORY A - ALL CHURCH

These events are wide-reaching and meant for everyone who comes to church on Sunday. Examples: Easter, membership, evangelism, next steps.

CATEGORY B - BIG EVENT

These events are large but not meant for the entire church. Examples: Women’s Bible Studies, Kids Summer Splash.

CATEGORY C - CERTAIN PEOPLE

These events are targeted to a certain group of people. Examples: Men’s Breakfast, mission trips, MOPS.


Step 2 : Marketing Request

Marketing Request Form

Fill out a marketing request form with as much information about your event as you can.

 

Category A/B
Form must be filled out 8 weeks prior to event or registration deadline.

Category C
Form must be filled out 4–6 weeks prior to event


Step 3 : Let's Work Together

CATEGORY A/B

Ideation
Discuss promotional ideas and potential avenues

Marketing Strategy
We’ll do the research and develop the best next steps

Creative Presentation
We’ll meet once again and present the final plan

 

CATEGORY C

Discussion
A rep from the Communications Team will meet with you to discuss your event and needs

Resources
We’ll set you up with the resources you need to market your event

 

FEatured STORY

By far the most effective way to promote your event will be through your Featured Story, where we highlight stories of life change. These stories are featured on the front page of the website, on Ebulletin, and are mentioned from the stage on Sunday and connected with a Next Step. If your story is chosen, it will be featured in conjunction with your upcoming event.
